Happy New Year all!
Okay as I write this, we are quite a ways into the new year, but that is besides the point.
I actually updated TWO blogs this month with more than two posts! Woot!
My goal is actually to post on the Pink Toast Blog every Tuesday. It’s been challenging to be consistent, but I like having something to shoot for!
Pink Toast Blog:
Very Pinteresting // Healthy Pinterest Boards for the New Year
Pretty self-explanatory, but I have been pinning everything lately and wanted to share some favorite healthy living boards for those with new year’s goals of getting healthy.
Rest is so important, not just for the body, but for the brain! I wrote a post explaining this as well as listing ways you can rest that brain and function better.
Amanda and Dave Tie the Knot:
Pinterest Wedding Planning
Are we seeing a theme here? I’m all about Pinterest lately and I’ve definitely been using it to brainstorm wedding ideas! You should have seen the response from Mama Sue when I sent her my giant wedding board (check out the post for the link!)….not sure she understood they are just ideas!
Social Media:
I grew my Pinterest to over 8K this month!
Like I said…lots of pinteresting!
Site Updates:
I’ve been having serious domain/hosting issues for my semihealthyblog.com and amandalovesblogging.com. Boo.
With semihealthyblog.com, the domain issue lies in that it was kind of in limbo when I bought it. I started out in Blogger which is associated with Google, and I followed a prompt to get a dot com (instead of keeping the .blogger.com) and it signed up for my domain through Go Daddy….only NEITHER GoDaddy NOR Google can help me renew it. So it’s stuck for awhile and it hurts my heart…like a piece of me is missing! #dramatic
In more fun news, I updated the look of the Pink Toast Blog.

After:
I’m still feeling challenged with what exactly the theme is of the blog, but as I turn 30 in a couple of months, bought a house last year, and am getting married in December, I think “adulting” is a good topic.
Personal:
We’ve been doing a TON of stuff around the house which is mostly thanks to Mr. Dave. I think he is trying to avoid wedding planning (like “oh I am way too busy with x project to help pick flowers”), but really I can’t complain because our house is looking more and more like a home. It also probably helps that I got my tax return and spent a lot of it at Target.com (aka relatively cheap but CUTE decorations).
