It’s time for another monthly wrap up post!
April got a little crazy (I feel like I always say it was a crazy month) with turning 30, assuming presidential duties for NE STEM 4 U and just in general freaking out about life.
As far as I know, I didn’t post a darn thing on any of my sites. I barely even updated Instagram, although I did spend a fair amount of time browsing Twitter (and feeling down about the world).
I’m hoping that after my last final (tomorrow!) I will have more time to write, but we will see!
Site Updates
Blog issues have been following me the past couple of months, mostly because I switched hosting companies, but also that issue with Diary of a Semi-Health Nut that nearly drove me off the deep end (glad that’s over!). I’m currently trying to get my last blogs amandalovesblogging.com and theiloveproject.com transferred back to BlueHost (<-affiliate because it’s awesome for the price), but some super smart person put The iLOVE Project onto my pinktoastblog.com.
I mean, how hard is it to recognize that The iLOVE Project goes onto theiloveproject.com?
*cue eyeroll*
I will admit that after I saw that (I was going to write my first post in the month of April and was so excited to chat with my readers and do a little writing therapy!), I broke down in tears. What can I say? I am quite attached to my blogs plus the weather has been so gloomy that I was already in a bit of a funk.
I’m also still waiting for amandalovesblogging.com to be fully restored as well…I want those blog makeover testimonials and examples to show!
Things I Did Accomplish
(This will make me feel better about slacking on publishing to my blogs.)
-Read books. I even started on my first Stephen King book, Firestarter and I’m obsessed with Stephen King’s writing.
-Ran a lot of miles. I have a half marathon coming up in about a week, so I’ve been running/walking around a lake up to 10 miles at a time. I know, I’m crazy.
-Finished up 3 out of 4 of my classes, one of which involved a group presentation which was teaching a lesson. For some reason this really gave me anxiety because we were teaching future teachers which made it feel like they could be all the more critical. I made it through though!
-Started sorting through e-mails and trying to figure out how to be president of a student organization. (I should probably start with a little dose of confidence)
-Turned 30. And decided that breakfast toast with sprinkles was in order for the rest of birthday month.
-After the final tomorrow, I will have made it through 2 out of 6 of my semesters in UNO’s education program! Woot!
Until next time…
